Diji Aderogba is an AMVCA nominated director. Some of his projects include; Some of Diji’s projects include: To be A Child Again, Hidden Euphoria, Tosin, ÌLÙ GÁNGAN (Talking Drum), and many others. We caught up with Diji to get to know him and these are some of the things we learned about him.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Honestly, I pray and check my phone – Sometimes, I check my phone and then pray.
How do you unwind after a busy day on set?
Sleep! Sleep well. I think about the day and then sleep again.
What movie made you cry your eyes out?

My film “To Be A Child Again,” “Like Stars on Earth,” and “3 idiots.”
What’s been keeping you busy lately?
Since the pandemic, I haven’t been able to work on set so I started learning UI/UX design and now, I’m close to being a pro.
What was your biggest challenge while shooting Hidden Euphoria?

Biggest challenge was dealing with touts and having to shoot on water. Very scary!
What’s the most fun thing you’ve done on set?
Eat and bants. We don’t get to do that always but yeah, eating and bantering for me.
What fictional character would you love to meet in real life and why?

Errrrmmmm . Not sure I have anyone…. I think I want to meet Robert in Acrimony, need to ask him why he was so wicked.
What’s the first thing you do when you get an idea for a film?
Write incoherent ideas down. Then, I start thinking about the story and asking myself different questions.
If you could have a superpower, what power would it be?

Invincibility or teleporting.
If you were not making films, what would you be doing?
Honestly, I don’t know. I like photography a lot too. Also, maybe I’d go into the food business because I love food so so much.
If you could get rid of one thing in this world, what would it be?
Right now? Covid 19!
