For over a while now, the BBC has dedicated enough resources in bringing to light the evil happening in many West African Universities.

Following several years after popular Nigerian artist Edris Abdulkareem released his song ‘Mr Lecturer’ which ultimately captures the sex for grade lifestyle in many Nigerian universities, the issue is still common on Nigerian university campuses. This culture of sexual harassment forms the subject of the latest from BBC’s Africa Eye.

On this episode of the African Eye, the undercover journalist is posing as a teenager hoping to get admission in one of Nigeria’s top university, UNILAG. The investigation not only cut across Nigeria as it also captured the same issues in one of Ghana’s top university.

BBC is hoping to bring these atrocities to light, putting it in the faces of people concerned to make a change and in hope to create a safe space for victims.
