Born in Nigeria and raised in Chicago, Bukunmi has gotten some very outstanding recognitions over the years. From her move to SoCal in 2012 where her photos have been commissioned by everyone from Highsnobiety, Elle, Nylon , Complex and, The New York Times to her styling roster that includes an eclectic mix of musical talents such as EDM duo Krewella, Willow Smith, Ashanti, Burna Boy and Alicia Keys
Starting off as a nerd in elementary school who would typically spend hours in the library, a place where she ultimately discovered Alexander McQueen. She became obsessed with McQueen’s genius creations that she would spend hours watching his fashion shows. Her first exposure to fashion.

From running a style editorial for Elle South Africa a few years ago and having her works featured on billboards across LA, Bukunmi is breaking new grounds in the creative scene ; Being inspired by her parents and generally by anyone who’s had a story of struggle and found success, and also by her peers who have their own success stories.
