Rema Bags Apple Music Up Next Artist, And We’re Loving It

Mavin Records star and Headies’ Next Rated artist, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema is sure having the best time of his career.

The ‘Dumebi’ crooner has secured another top spot as he’s been named Apple Music Up Next artist.

Rema, who is so excited about it has taken to twitter to share the news on Twitter as he showed deep gratitude for the honor.

“The goal is to take Africa to the world, if the world can’t come to Africa,” Rema tells Apple Music, in the first episode of the show.

In his Up Next film, Rema opens up, talking about his earliest introductions to music through church groups and sharing how faith helped him overcome tragedy. And in an interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, he discusses the origins of his genre-bending sound, the cultural significance of Lagos, and receiving the presidential seal of approval from Barack Obama.
