‘Star Trek: Discovery’ Casts David Ajala For Season 3

Star Trek: Discovery revealed that British-Nigerian actor, David Ajala will join its cast in the third season as a series regular.

According to Deadline, the actor will play an entirely new character, described as, “smart and capable with natural charisma and devil-may-care attitude which gives him the right charm and also lands him in and out of trouble.

Best known for his lead role in the chilling supernatural thriller series, ‘Falling Water’, which aired for two seasons, and for his feature role in the Syfy’s series, Nightflyers, which ran for one season. He also shined as Manchester Black in the CW’s Supergirl.

This third season of Star Trek: Discovery, which continues with the crew of the USS Discovery as they come in contact with new worlds and civilizations, will take place a thousand years in the future from where Season 2 ended. There is no premiere date yet.
