Launching in 2018 with appearances from Skepta, Wizkid and J Hus as well as brand activation from the likes of Off-White, Patta and Mains, Lagos-based Homecoming is set for a comeback.
The Show recently announced the brand list for 2019’s Homecoming Pop-Up. Described as a “retail hub,” the pop-up space will see international brands — including ALYX, Ambush, Awake NYC, Nike, Stüssy, Patta, Places+Faces and No Vacancy Inn — collaborate with Nigerian labels.
These exclusive collaborations will then be for sale exclusively from the pop-up location.
Also, the Homecoming Pop-Up space for this year’s festival will also include a line-up of both international artists and the biggest names in Nigeria. With the show set to close the three-day event on April 21, the full line-up is set to be announced in the near future.
The festival which was described as a cultural exchange between “Africa and the world” will also feature a football tournament and jersey workshop in collaboration with Nike as well as a skate jam alongside WAFFLESNCREAM. Tickets for the event are on sale via the Homecoming website now.
