Santi is an alternative rapper/singer from Nigeria who combines a blend of different genres of music to produce his own personal unique style. He grew up with a passion for music after he got to hear his father’s old records in his early childhood. Santi dived into acting at the age of ten but fell back to music professionally at the age of 16. In July 2011, he released a mix-tape which got him noticed by the music world. Santino was also the face of the Nokia Campaign in 2012, “Don’t break the beat” alongside rappers like Phenom and Muna. In 2013, the rising artiste released a 13 track EP called the Birth of Santi.

Santi has been recognized as the forerunner for a new generation of Nigerian Music, he has also been recognized both locally and internationally and has had several collaborations with other amazing ground breaking artists.

The creative industry is a sector that encompasses expressions in art and film to fashion and architecture. It is one of the most rapidly growing sectors globally and social media has allowed creators widen the reach of their message. VS50 merits the achievements of futurists that have inspired us through street culture, film and art and pushed our imagination through design and creative content.
