Watch David Oyelowo in The Time-bending Thriller, ‘Don’t Let Go’

Last year, David Oyelowo announced his featuring in his first horror film – Relive, Produced by the genius behind the 2019 horror movie ‘Us’ – Jason Blum. Following its Sundance premiere, the name of the film has been changed to Don’t Let Go, and it’s gotten a release date and an official trailer.

The movie follows Jack Radcliffe (Oyelowo), a Los Angeles detective whose entire family dies in what appears to be a murder. Afterwards, he gets a phone call from one of dead niece (Storm Reid). This evidently puts him in a state of confusion as he begins to question his sanity.

The film focuses on his pursuit to understand and eventually prevent the chain of events that led to the death of his niece and her parents. The first full-length trailer hints at these characters’ manic struggle to try and solve the murder across different timelines. 

Directed by Jason Aaron Estes, and starring Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2) and Mykelti Williamson (Fences)Don’t Let Go has been described by critics as “suspenseful”, “engaging” and “a pressure cooker for some strong performers”

Don’t Let Go is set to hit theatres on August 30
